The process of reviewing an article for a scientific journal requires great thoroughness, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the journal’s specific requirements. The main requirements for reviewing scientific articles include the following:
1. Familiarization with the material
Study the journal’s scope: This helps determine whether the article is suitable for publication.
Read the article carefully: At this stage, paying attention to its structure provides a complete understanding of the work’s content.
2. Structure of the review
Introduction: Describe how well the work aligns with the journal’s objectives and whether it is appropriate for its audience.
Methodology: Assess how accurately and thoroughly the research methods are described.
Results and interpretations: Verify the logical connection between the research results and the hypotheses, as well as the correctness of data interpretation.
Quality of the presented data: Evaluate the clarity of tables, graphs, charts, and other data.
Conclusion and recommendations: Summarize the work and provide recommendations for improving the article or an opinion on its rejection.
3. Formulating comments
