COURSERA PLATFORMUNUN İNGILIZCE ÖĞRETIMINDEKI YÖNTEMSEL SISTEMI

Bu araştırma çalışmasında, Coursera platformundaki kitlesel açık çevrimiçi kursların (KAÇK) Kazakistan yükseköğretim sistemine entegrasyonu ele alınmakta ve İngilizce öğretimi kurslarına genel bir bakış sunulmaktadır. Küresel pandemi, yükseköğretimde dijital yetkinliğin hayati önemini gözler önüne sermiş; uzaktan eğitimin ve çevrimiçi platformların önemini artırmıştır. Dünyanın önde gelen üniversiteleri, farklı disiplinlerde belirli hedefleri ve içerikleri olan çevrimiçi kurslar geliştirmektedir. El-Farabi Kazak Ulusal Üniversitesi (KazNU), 2016 yılından bu yana KAÇK’lar sunmaktadır ve bugün openkaznu.kz platformunda öğrenciler için yüzlerce kurs erişilebilir durumdadır. Bu makalenin temel amacı; Coursera’nın Kazakistan’daki ortağı BMG Upskill şirketinin, KAÇK’ları KazNU eğitim sistemine entegre etme sürecini analiz etmektir. Bu araştırma çalışması kapsamında Coursera kataloğundan “Yabancı Dil: İki Yabancı Dil” müfredatına uygun belirli bir İngilizce öğretimi kursu seçilmiş ve ilgili ders programına dâhil edilmiştir. Kitlesel açık çevrimiçi kursların (KAÇK) entegrasyon etkisini belirlemek amacıyla dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri arasında bir anket uygulanmış ve ardından elde edilen veriler bütünüyle nitel (kalitatif) yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Bu analiz, öğrencilerin mesleki becerilerini artırmak için KAÇK’ların akademik ortama entegre edilmesinin stratejik önemini ortaya koymuştur.
