PRACTICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE USE OF DIGITAL RESOURCES IN TEACHING THE HISTORY OF PRISONERS OF WAR

This article is devoted to the study of pedagogical methods for the effective integration of digital resources in teaching the topic of prisoners of war during the Great Patriotic War. The relevance of the study is justified by the high demands for information and technological competence in the modern educational environment, as well as the profound humanistic significance of this complex historical topic. Particular attention was given to enhancing the professional competence of future historians, including the development of students’ skills in using digital technologies. In this regard, the plan, aim, and objectives of the practicalexperimental work were thoroughly examined.
During the study, alongside theoretical analysis, practical-experimental work was carried out with the participation of students, aimed at exploring effective ways of using digital resources in teaching the topic of prisoners of war during the Great Patriotic War. The aim of the experiment was to test the effectiveness of a methodological model developed based on the use of digital tools. The results of the experiment demonstrated a significant increase in students’ readiness to use digital learning tools across organizational-methodological, personal, and cognitive components. As a result of the practical-experimental work, a new teaching methodology was proposed.
The proposed methodological model proved that the use of digital resources contributes to enhancing students’ cognitive activity, developing skills in working with historical data, and fostering spiritual and moral values.
