The paper considers the issue of storing electrical energy in microgrids based on the use of an undamped oscillatory circuit as electromagnetic inertia. Using this inertia on microgrids makes it possible to increase the efficiency of energy storage and redistribution in autonomous and distributed energy systems. The proposed approach is aimed at reducing energy losses caused by the vagaries of the weather, as well as ensuring the stability of microgrids under variable load conditions. The possibility of using oscillatory processes as a basis for the formation of reactive energy buffers is being considered. The principles of energy circulation in an oscillatory circuit, the features of maintaining a resonant regime, and the conditions for preserving the energy potential of the system are analyzed. It is shown that the use of an undamped oscillatory circuit can help to increase the efficiency of the microgrid as a whole and improve its dynamic characteristics. The results obtained can be used in the development of intelligent energy systems, autonomous power supply sources and promising distributed energy technologies.
