This study explores the main motifs, artistic nature and structural features of wedding plots in the epics of the Turkic peoples. It reveals the history of the origin and mythological foundations of the wedding network, often found in epics. The wedding image in the epic of the Turkic peoples, along with the image of socio-social relations, is considered as a reflection of the worldview and national concepts of the ethnic group.
The article presents the works of the Turkic peoples. The typological nature and artistic system of the wedding plot in the epics are analyzed, similarities and differences are revealed. The wedding motif in epic works is inextricably linked not only to the personal fate of the hero, but also to the worldview, social structure, customs, and traditions of the ethnic group. The role of these plots in preserving heroic and historical memory is also emphasized.
Through the wedding plot, the poetics of the epic reflect the moral and ethical norms of traditional society, the continuity of generations, and historical consciousness. The study reveals the historical and mythological foundations of the wedding plot, reveals its place and function in the structure of the epic. The wedding line in epic songs is often seen as a logical continuation of the hero's heroic path, a sign of public recognition. This plot is presented in an epic space as an artistic mechanism that complements the human nature of the hero and reinforces historical memory and cultural continuity. As a result of the research, it turns out that the wedding plot in the poetics of the epic is not only a literary and aesthetic phenomenon, but also a cultural code reflecting national identity.
