Abstract

The article analyzes the main directions of pedagogical science at the present stage, changes in society and the education system, as well as changes in the basic principles and methods of pedagogy associated with the new philosophy of education. It also examines the main reasons for in lag of pedagogical science behind the practice of teaching and upbringing. In recent years, pedagogical science has been moving to new directions and methods in response to changes in society and the economy, as well as global educational processes. These changes require a new approach to pedagogy. There is a gap between the development of science and new requirements in the process of teaching and upbringing. The main reasons for this gap are the slow renewal of educational methods, the lack of connection between pedagogical theory and practice, as well as the low level of implementation of innovative technologies in the education and upbringing system.

 The article emphasizes that to solve these problems in pedagogical science, a close connection between scientific research and pedagogical experience is necessary. To improve the efficiency of the education system, it is important to update pedagogical principles and methods; their changes must meet the requirements of modern times. New directions and methods in pedagogy must base their work on the relationship between science and practice. In addition, pedagogical science requires relevant scientific research for the effective application of new technologies and methods in the education and upbringing system. The results of such research will help create new models of pedagogical theory based on practice, which will improve the process of teaching and upbringing.
